Casa Capri held on to my meds knowing I wouldn’t be able to get refills and I have schizophrenia & ptsd as a diagnosis. They also kept some of my belongings in when I left and refuse to mail my stuff to me even if I paid them, had to go through northbound, which they just merged with, to get some form of communication with them. this place is messed up in all of the wrong ways. I’m astounded by the cruelty of the women who run this program who decided sandwhich baggies with 5 doses is enough after ordering 100 of each med leaving me with no insurance coverage, no ability to get the correct doses as they’d been upped before at the previous rehab I was at. Never have I seen a rehab do something like this.

if i could rate this place 0 stars i would… this place is not an eating disorder facility in any regard when I was there I was not able to meet with my nutritionist and when I did meet with her once, I told her my dislikes and she rejected them and said it was my eating disorder one in fact, it was not my eating disorder. It was my dislikes, and there was a point where I had slept in and they would not feed me until the snack which was hummus and celery sticks, which is an anorexics snack. This place may work for people with binge eating disorder but if you have anorexia, there is no shot that this place will help you there are scheduled eating times and no supplements. The only supplement you get is if you don’t want the food, you have to stay in your room during meal time and drink, and ensure being watched, and if you don’t like, ensure you were welcome to take it and skip every single meal without any repercussions groups were based around addiction and not at all to treat the eating disorder my therapist did not address issues I was having . and ine of the techs even felt bad for me and tried to sneak me a snack i was when I asked for my medication to be changed, I met with the doctor once and I told him all the medication did not work for me and he prescribed me those exact medication so I told him do not work and I consistently asked to speak with him again, and I was not allowed to because he wasn’t on duty every single day when I was told I could speak with a nurse I want to speak with one and she told me that she would come to me in an hour, and she had not came to me at all for the next week and my meds were not changed and they had claimed that they changed them three times which was not true this place gaslit me to the extreme and told me that what I was experiencing wasn’t my experience. Please do not go here and save yourself the trip.

This faciility is unprofessional and they take advantage of vulnerable clients. A woman there was having uncontrollable seizures with epilepsy and wanted to go home to seek the appropriate medical care. They refuse to let her go after they upruptly discontinued a benzodiazepine taper which continued to decrease her seizure threshold. Instead they let non medical personnel follow her around to watch for seizure activity with no training. They hold people against their will and have them sign consent forms while under the influence when detoxing. In addition, they expect clients to clean their homes at 630 in the morning, get bossed around all day about what they cannot do, and sit at meals with a timer to start eating, and when to stand up and sit down like the military. They are ok allowing clients to smoke all day, instead of healing, not being able to work out, having peaceful mediations, and solutions offered for recovery. There is no gym or equine therapy offered as on the website. These individuals taking care of people are early in recovery themselves and I witnessed them participate in drama with clients causing more tension and anxiety for everyone. One of the personnel was actually high while giving out medications. I highly recommend staying way from here It is not a healing place but a boot camp run by un-professionals who claim to be educated. Some positives I was impressed by the chef her food was excellent . One of therapist there name Halle was also excellent, and a 2 technicans name Britany and Josie.

The only reason I’m giving one star is for the sisterhood I met, the groups(some) and AA classes. This place is so unstructured, staff has terrible communication! And staff being new and left alone not knowing what to do. Among being in recovery most less then a year. Personal items would go missing, never found. Case managers- . Didn’t let me talk to my family when I was told I could. As well for other women there couldn’t talk to family as well. The schedule they had was always changing and if you had an appointment half the time they wouldn’t get to you and promised they would get you the next day. There were women whose pills went missing also pill bottles missing, and most of the time it wasn’t noticed till after they did room checks. Belongings would be put in other people containers, I had someone’s blow dryer brush, and it body spray in my container. My conditioner and razor were put in someone else’s container. We had to go through each container to see who stuff was put where.I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. All you are is a number there and all they care about is money. Yes, rehab isn’t fun that’s not the point of it but under the circumstances of being in this environment majority of us felt unsafe, lied to, and completely dismissed or manipulated what was asked or said. I will leave it at this. I could go on and on about this place.
